Bo & Herb
are two electronic musicians from Stuttgart. As a duo, they bring analog and digital soundscapes to the stage: Bo controls digital synthesizers, drums and samples via a controller-based setup, while Herb works with modular, analog synthesizers and patch cables. Both systems run separately - they are connected by playing together. Their music is created live and directly - between precise construction and free play, carried by rhythmic energy and atmospheric density.

The artistic aim is to combine visual representation and the written word in a productive and, where possible, innovative way. The aim is to avoid the conventional categories of "illustration" on the one hand and "image description" on the other and to try out new, emergent forms of aesthetic interplay.
