From "Mister Germany" to free art: Ralph Schulz exhibits in Stuttgart.

With an extraordinary CV and an equally expressive visual language, artist Ralph Schulz is coming to Stuttgart in May 2026: he is presenting a selection of his current works at Galerie Bovistra. The exhibition will open on May 16, 2026 at 7 p.m. with a vernissage at Ludwigstraße 66.
Ralph Schulz is not a classic representative of the art scene. Before devoting himself entirely to painting, he worked successfully as a communication designer and creative director - and also attracted attention outside the art world: Schulz was once crowned "Mister Germany 2003/04". Today, however, the focus is exclusively on his artistic work.
His works are characterized by an intense, often unsparing examination of emotions, physicality and human vulnerability. Schulz moves stylistically between figuration and abstraction, with strong colors, dynamic structures and an immediate expressiveness characterizing his works. His use of materials is also characteristic. He uses unusual supports such as metal or glass.
The exhibition at Galerie Bovistra provides a concentrated insight into his current work. The focus is on works that make inner areas of tension visible and appeal directly to the viewer. Schulz's pictures invite viewers to engage with the emotions depicted and develop their own interpretations.
