Rebellische Komponistinnen

A piano recital full of emotions and musical masterpieces with Diana Brekalo! This concert is dedicated to extraordinary female composers who rebelled against the social conventions of their time and broke new musical ground with their works.

A concert in which the pianist passionately guides you through the life stories of the female composers. She will present and perform works by Clara Schumann, Fanny Mendelssohn, Lily Boulanger, Mel Bonis, Anne de Belleville and Dora Pejacevic.
Experience a concert of a special kind with the internationally renowned concert pianist Diana Brekalo. In this program, she will talk about and quote from the lives and challenges of female composers in their time.
Each of these special women went their own rebellious way, regardless of conventions and heavy blows of fate.
