Reise ins Geschichtenland - Klaus, die Büchermaus
- Location:
- Stadtteilbibliothek Feuerbach, Sankt-Pöltener-Straße 29, 70469 Stuttgart
- Date

The Feuerbach district library offers the "Kamishibai" reading program every four weeks
Klaus, the hungry mouse, finds inspiration in the bookshop by eating books. The bookseller makes a pact with him: she reads stories to the mouse until he can read for himself. This is how Klaus becomes a book mouse who inspires children to read and attracts them to the bookshop.
Kamishibai is a special form of storytelling. A frame made of wood. Two hinged doors that slowly open. The first picture of a story appears on the stage. With its expressive images, the Japanese paper theater proves to be an excellent tool for making contact with children.
