A musical and literary evening. With the Duo Jost Costa
The evening invites you to an encounter with Prague in the life and work of the poet Rainer Maria Rilke. Letters, poems and prose texts paint a vivid picture between childhood memories and artistic self-discovery. Works for piano by Dvořák, Smetana and Satie allow words and sound to merge into one.
Sophisticated virtuosity and a penchant for unusual concert programs characterize the Duo Jost Costa, founded in 2006 by the two pianists Yseult Jost (France) and Domingos Costa (Portugal). Both artists have worked as lecturers at the Venice Academy of Music and have produced recordings for SWR, WDR and Deutsche Welle.
