Two weighty night musics of outstanding beauty mark the beginning of our new season. Prokofiev's music for "Romeo and Juliet" transports us to Verona, the scene of the tragedy of the world's most famous lovers.
In the time of Maria Theresa, the opulent sounds of Mozart's large-scale Gran Partita filled not only the palaces of the Danube metropolis but also its promenades. The Stuttgart Wind Academy will acoustically revive past worlds - it will be a feast for the ears - that's a promise!
