Ron Minis Trio

Ron Minis is a multi-instrumentalist who invites you to dream and dance at the same time with virtuoso and rhythmic patterns. With his jazz trio, he moves between lyrical phrases and energetic rhythms. The diversity of his songs is hard to beat.

Ron Minis creates musical worlds full of emotion, seduces with gentle melodies on the piano, changes abruptly into hammering staccatos and ends in spherical worlds of sound without losing the suspense of his songs. It is not without reason that he is not impressed by genre boundaries, but in the same breath he also calls "brutal jazz" the home of his music. When he picks up the electric guitar during the concerts and the transition to the grand piano, distorted by a second guitar amp, becomes blurred, it becomes clear what he means by this. But the Middle Eastern culture of Israel or the influence of artists such as Tigran Hamasyan make genre thoughts disappear immediately....

In his compositions, the charismatic musician draws on the numerous experiences he has already had in the course of his musical career. While Ron Minis was classically trained as a pianist from the age of six, he continuously expanded his arsenal through music studies, his passion for mechanical and electronic tinkering, as well as drumming and electric guitar.

Having been a member of various projects (mainly in the punk, noise and metal genres), he now brings his skills to his own jazz piano trio. His band is completed by none other than drummer Yogev Gabay, known for his unique YouTube rhythm tutorials, and young bassist Bar Filipowicz.

(Also) Ron Minis has achieved significant viral success in the past with a series of successful YouTube videos. Among other things, he has shown how a concert grand piano can be repurposed as an electric guitar, creating a new playground for musical adventure through cutting-edge technology and sound effects. These videos have made Ron famous all over the world, which has enabled him to gain a broad global fan base. With almost 100,000 subscribers on YouTube, among others, the musician with the unmistakable blue beard is a media force in the digital networks and is now following the call in his comments to Europe and beyond.

Ron Minis can already look back on a large number of concerts in which he has enchanted and won over audiences with his unique musical expression.
