World music with the Hungarian-Spanish-Italian KALIMA Trio

In the style of the Fête de la musique, we celebrate the Rue de la Musique on Augustenstrasse at the summer solstice: small, fine concerts for all cultures and generations that bring the district to life and bring the neighborhood together.
As part of the festival, we present the KALIMA trio with our colleagues from the EUNIC cluster, which was founded as a genuine European friendship project. The trio's music is rooted in three musical worlds, but speaks a single language. Flutist Maria Toro from Spain, bandoneon master Daniele di Bonaventura from Italy and percussionist Kornél Mogyoró from Hungary have joined forces to create a musical world without borders.
