"The Bookshop at the End of the World" has moved and inspired readers all over the world. Now Ruth Shaw takes us on another journey through her full, but not always easy life - and into her tiny world of books in the far south of New Zealand. The small bookshop has now grown into three. Ruth alternates between telling of the heart-wrenching encounters in her little book world and how her life went on after she found her son and the love of her life, Lance. A book, sometimes touching, sometimes sad, sometimes full of joie de vivre. Stories about the ups and downs of life that warm and make you happy in a way that only a good book and a cup of steaming tea can.
