"It Has To Feel Good" is the title of the first song on Sandie Wollasch's latest album "Women's Choice", which the Karlsruhe-based singer recorded once again with the famous Klaus Wagenleiter Trio as her backing band.

For the album, the Karlsruhe songwriter and singer invited a whole host of guest musicians to show the many facets of being a woman. "This album shows us as we are," says Wollasch, "female, male, different, special, courageous, fearful, abysmal, full of joy, full of talent, full of love."
With the Klaus Wagenleiter Trio, which is best known as the rhythmically pulsating heart of the Grammy-winning SWR Big Band, Wollasch has formed a top-class quartet for years that oscillates between jazz and jazz-pop.

Band leader Klaus Wagenleiter was the first choice as pianist and arranger for stars such as Udo Jürgens, Götz Alsmann and Helen Schneider, and his two band colleagues have also worked with many prominent stars.

With Wollasch, they form a band as if from a single mold.

Special guests on this BIX evening will be Klaus Graf (saxophone soloist with the SWR Big Band for many years, saxophonist with the Soul Diamonds) and Sandrine Neye (one of Germany's most talented young singers), who will complete the quartet around Sandie Wollasch to form a sextet!

Line-up: Sandie Wollasch (voc); Klaus Wagenleiter (p); Decebal Badila (b); Guido Jöris (dr); Klaus Graf (sax); Sandrine Neye (voc)
