The Art Book Fair "Werkstatthaus Papiere" is already entering its third round in 2025. On September 26 and 27, we invite you to the Werkstatthaus in the east of Stuttgart.
The fair promotes small, independent publishers and questions the classic art book by presenting works that break new ground in terms of content and design, thus exploring the boundaries of the medium. At the same time, "Werkstatthaus Papiere" offers the Stuttgart art book scene a permanent home.
Admission is free - it's worth stopping by! You can look forward to an international selection of publishers from Denmark, Germany, France, Greece, Austria, Poland and Switzerland, who will be bringing their very own perspectives on the "art book" medium. During the fair, you can browse through a diverse range of new publications and experimental book projects and talk directly to the publishers.
A special highlight: On September 27, the Werkstatthaus celebrates its 40th anniversary! Together with the book fair, we are organizing a lively celebration with art, music and an exuberant atmosphere on this day.
And it continues after the fair weekend: In a small exhibition in the Werkstatthaus, we are showing a selection of books by this year's publishers so that you can continue to be inspired afterwards.
Exhibition:
Friday, 26.09 18:00-22:00 Opening
Saturday, 27.09 12:00 - 20:00
Workshops:
Two workshops will take place as part of the "Werkstatthaus Papiere", for which you can register via our website in September.
