At this special tasting, you’ll discover how finely aged ham from the vonSchelkle butcher shop in Balingen and select wines from the Weinmanufaktur complement and enhance each other, sometimes bringing out surprisingly new flavors. Accompanied by expert commentary, you’ll learn more about the origins, production, and perfect harmony of ham and wine. This tasting is designed for both curious beginners and experienced connoisseurs who want to rediscover the classics.
Our Partners
vonSchelkle – Craftsmanship since 1851: Dry-aged meats, air-dried raw hams, and naturally aged salamis. The recipes have been passed down from generation to generation to create something that has become rare today—true quality! We use only rock salt and organic natural spices to produce these specialties. The hams and salamis are aged in a 200-year-old vaulted cellar. On this evening, we’ll be tasting six exquisite raw hams from Albweide pigs and our acorn-fed Albericos.
