For the second time, the Literaturhaus Stuttgart is a guest in the park of Villa Berg and invites you to an entertaining and clever summer evening in the open air with the "Schlagerparade".

Between music, readings and pointed commentary, Claudia & Wolfgang Seljé, together with Reiner Moritz, dedicate themselves to the great lyrics of entertainment culture - with charm, humor and a fine sense for the nuances of the German Schlager.

What at first seems light and playful soon turns out to be an affectionate cultural-historical search for clues: between longing, kitsch, everyday philosophy and zeitgeist, the lyrics of the Schlager world open up surprising insights into the social moods and collective feelings of past decades. They are sung, read and commented on with a wink, but never without affection for the material.

In the special atmosphere of the Villa Berg park, the result is an evening between concert, literary event and nostalgic revue - entertaining, clever and wonderfully summery.
