"Shorties" presents thematically linked contributions from puppet theater, dance and film. The result is a multifaceted evening that combines lightness and artistic seriousness and helps to bring together people with very different artistic experiences.

What do objects from the 1920s tell us about today? When contemporary witnesses fall silent, "contemporary things" such as gramophones and calculating machines take over. Between humor and concern, they illuminate parallels between then and now - from technological breakthroughs to populism. A theatrical mind game that searches history for ways to achieve solidarity.

This interdisciplinary dance performance project uses the spider's web as a metaphor for human existence. In a combination of physical, visual and audio language, it visualizes elastic concepts such as time, love and freedom as elastic rubber bands. Strength alone is not enough. Resilience arises from flexibility and adapting to the unpredictability of life. A philosophical exploration of the delicate balance between stability and freedom.
