Solitude im Literaturhaus #3

Location:
Literaturhaus Stuttgart, Breitscheidstraße 4, 70174 Stuttgart
Date
March 6, 2026, 7:30 PM

In the third edition of Solitude im Literaturhaus, current Akademie Schloss Solitude fellows provide insight into literary and text-based artistic works that take the written word further into medial, spatial and performative forms.

With Hiba Ali, Jeannette Hunziker, Anna Lublina and Maddy Routon.

As a digital artist, Hiba Ali uses text and images to develop a narrative about a mysterious wishing machine whose fulfillments transform bodies, communities and ultimately the world itself.

The author Jeannette Hunziker will read from the resulting text Die Zerriebenen, which reflects in many voices on community and the role of art in troubled times.

Anna Lublina is a performance artist and presents a poetry performance in which language unfolds in the rhythmic crushing of garlic through repetition and transformation.

Maddy Routon is an author and feminist cultural geographer. She will read excerpts from a text that combines academic research on precarious housing conditions with autobiographical writing and traces a life through 24 places of residence.

An evening for anyone who wants to experience literature in a new way - between language, space, image and performance. Moderated by Yara Richter.
