SPINESHANK + (HED) P.E. - Europe 2026
Two legends of crossover and nu-metal,
whose roots date back to the 1990s,
are coming to Europe together this fall!
The industrial metal masters Spineshank from Los
Angeles and the wild groove crew from (hed) P.E.
from Huntington Beach will grace Germany with
five double-headlining shows as part of
this tour: Between October 14 and 21,
they’ll be performing in Aschaffenburg, Berlin, Munich,
Stuttgart, and Cologne.
It’s been a long time
since either band has toured live. First, there’s Spineshank. Formed
in 1996 in Los Angeles, they burst onto the metal scene of the
late ’90s with their debut “Strictly Diesel” and built a passionate fan base while touring alongside
big names like Sepultura, System of a Down, Fear Factory, Biohazard, and Static-X
Known for their fusion of industrial metal, alternative metal, and nu-metal
elements, Spineshank gained prominence in the early 2000s as part of the
emerging wave of heavy music influenced by electronic textures and aggressive
rhythms. Known for their emotionally charged compositions and
intense live performances, Spineshank left a lasting impression on the
metal scene by combining heavy riffs, electronic undertones, and introspective lyrics
to create a distinctive, timeless sound.
Now, after a long hiatus, Spineshank is returning with a revamped lineup that
includes original members Jonny Santos, Rob Garcia, and Tommy Decker, as well as new
members Tommy Decker Jr. and Jason Hager (ex-Chimaira), to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their
groundbreaking release “The Height of Callousness.”
(Hed) P.E. from Southern California, on the other hand, have always been known for their raw, brutal
honesty, risqué lyrics, and their often over-the-top sense of humor. During their
rise in the nu-metal scene, their shows were a massive middle finger to the
commercial rock that dominated the radio airwaves in the early 2000s. With their
rebellious attitude, chaotic energy, and groove, fans could
relate to them—including fellow musicians like Jonathan Davis of Korn, M. Shadows of
Avenged Sevenfold, and Chester Bennington of Linkin Park.
(Hed) P.E. are the pioneers of the G-Punk sound, which blends punk rock, metal, hip-hop, and reggae
. The band toured the world for 20 years and shared the stage with
greats such as Suicidal Tendencies, System of a Down, Mötley Crüe, and Black Sabbath on the
iconic Ozzfest tour. They experienced a creative resurgence after signing with
Suburban Noize Records in the early
2000s. In 2023, they released
“Detox,” their 14th studio album in 29 years, and on it they sound as fresh as ever.
