Irish-Celtic Folk Music & Irish Dance

The lively folk band Colludie Stone brings a sparkling program to the stage that infects and enthrals the audience, entertaining, witty and with a good dose of humour. The active and successful group has been known in southern Germany and beyond for over 15 years, and their very own musical signature is now unmistakable.

It stands for Irish-Celtic folk in true style with traditional instrumentation. A wide range of Irish folk instruments is used, from which the musicians elicit a broadly diversified tapestry of sound. The four musicians perform a variety of songs, tunes and ballads with palpable love and great enthusiasm. They often interpret traditional pieces in a refreshingly new way with their own arrangements, and when mixed with modern songs, the program becomes a musical treat.

The musicians provide moments of deep connection with the world and rhythm of the land of lush green meadows. The extremely active and creative musicians have now achieved success with this. "Irish music goes Irish dance", as we know from Riverdance, but we perform with one or more award-winning dancers from the Halpin School of Irish dance Stuttgart.
