STAUB

STAUB is an interdisciplinary project by the Stuttgart-based performance group O-Team with elements of object theater, visual art, performance and music theater. We see a space, a home, that is slowly disintegrating. Just as we are disintegrating, just as our living environment, ecosystems, culture, social structures and dreams are disintegrating. STAUB is a performative meditation on transience, death and decay. STAUB is a theatrical devotion, a vanitas still life, a ritual dissolution of civilizational ballast as liberation, a peeling or shedding of skin. STAUB is beauty, peace and serenity.
