The Armenian Culture Days Stuttgart will open with a musical bang. Two outstanding artists invite the audience on a journey through opera, song and Armenian soundscapes: the internationally renowned soprano Karine Babajanyan and the pianist Lusine Khachatryan.
The program ranges from the passionate arias of Wagner, Puccini and Bizet to the subtle songs of Strauss and Armenian composers such as Khachaturian, Melikyan and Abrahamyan, who capture the heart of Armenia in sound. Finally, Gershwin's jazz melodies bring the splendor of the Broadway stage to life.

Karine Babajanyan has been thrilling audiences at major opera houses from Stuttgart to Vienna, from Milan to Berlin for years. Her voice combines dramatic intensity with lyrical warmth. Lusine Khachatryan has already performed in the world's most important concert halls, including Carnegie Hall, Concertgebouw Amsterdam and Wigmore Hall London. With her award-winning album My Armenia, she gave the Armenian heritage an unmistakable musical voice.
