The Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS) will take place for the 31st time in 2024. The ITFS is set to take place from April 23rd to 28th, 2024. Over six days and nights, the Stuttgart region will become the global center of animated filmmaking.
Founded in 1982, the ITFS has established itself as a globally outstanding event for animated film that presents the enormous spectrum of animation, with its intersections with visual effects, games, architecture, art, design, and music, among others. The ITFS demonstrates how animation and games can combine technological innovation, socially relevant issues, and entertainment to appeal to different target audiences and generations. It celebrates animation in all its creativity and diversity with film screenings, exhibitions, lectures, workshop talks, master classes, VR events and animated live performances.
