
SUP Anfängerkurs

150 minutes
The best introduction to a new world. In two and a half hours, we'll get you ready for your own tours. During this course, you will learn how to paddle, steer and navigate safely. We will also inform you about safety aspects, right of way rules and equipment.
Procedure:
You start with a half-hour briefing and a safety briefing on land.
This is followed by an hour on the water with an explanation of the technique and further information.
The second hour is spent on the water. Depending on your wishes, we will help you to refine your technique or teach you the race technique. Alternatively, you can choose between fun & games or relaxation & nature experience.

Please note:
There is also a SUP and canoe rental at the Riverhouse, these are the guides with the blue and white striped shirts, if you end up with them please ask for Jones, or simply go to the trailer with the SUPs outside the door to the street, see photos above.
Car:
Due to the current roadworks and closure when approaching from Münster, do not approach via Münster, but via Mühlhausen! It is best to enter Arnoldstraße Stuttgart Mühlhausen into the navigation system and then drive along the Neckar on the very wide and busy cycle path to the Riverhouse. The first building on the left-hand side is the Riverhouse and Riverbeach locations.
Public transport: Take the U12/U14 to the "Wagrainäcker" stop.Then it's about a 10-15 minute walk to the locations.
The first buildings on the left are the Riverhouse and Riverbeach locations, meet at Riverboats.
There is free parking for cars directly at the location (a little tight, please form carpools).
Trailer with SUPs is near the entrance, go in there, then please ask for the boat area/Jones.
Bike: You can get there by bike from Hofen and Mühlhausen on the beautiful cycle path.
But not from Münster! The path from Münster is completely closed! Even for pedestrians!
Public transport:
Take the U14 to the "Elbestraße" stop or the U12 to the "Wagrainäcker" stop. From the stops, it is about a 10-15 minute walk to the locations.
Note to the participants
- - 50m safe swimming and suitable physical condition.
- Body weight max. 120 kg except for good athletes.
- Not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Children up to 16 years only when accompanied by an adult.
- Please form car pools if possible.
