Tanz auf der Orgel

Under the title "Dance on the organ", cathedral conductor Lydia Schimmer presents a varied solo program on the theme of "dance". Lively and virtuoso works from several eras will be played on the large organ, including the "Danse macabre" by Camille Saint-Saëns and the "Tanz-Toccata" by Anton Heiller. The concert will be accompanied by a live broadcast on a screen in the sanctuary - allowing the audience to experience the fascinating choreography of the organ playing, the interplay of hands and feet, up close.
