THOMAS STIEGER BAND

Thomas Stieger has made a name for himself as an extremely versatile bassist, producer and composer in Europe's diverse music scene.

With a long-standing reputation as a sought-after session musician and sideman, he works with a large number of nationally and internationally renowned artists of all genres (including Wolfgang Haffner, Nils Landgren, Torsten Goods and Sarah Connor) - and plays concerts all over the world.

After releasing two critically acclaimed albums with his band "Marriage Material", he released his first album "CHOICES" (Jazzline/Leopard) under his own name in 2024 - with special guest appearances by Randy Brecker, Will Lee, Tim Lefebvre, Wolfgang Haffner, Aly Keïta, Rhani Krija, Simon Oslender and Alma Naidu.

On stage, he is supported by a band that is second to none:

Simon Oslender, himself a celebrated bandleader and 2025 WDR Jazz Prize winner on keys; Peter Gall on drums, who received the 2025 German Jazz Prize for Best Album; Marc Doffey on saxophone, not only an outstanding instrumentalist but also a versatile composer and arranger; and Igor Osypov on guitar, one of the most exciting guitarists and producers on the German scene.
