Tobias Becker Bigband // VENTI — das Release-Konzert

With VENTI, the Tobias Becker Bigband presents its fifth studio album and presents it exclusively to its audience at BIX shortly before the official release at the end of February.

In addition to pieces from the new album, there will also be a few brand new compositions hot off the press. Plus a few special gems from the bandbook that the orchestra has long wanted to play again. You can look forward to it! Verena Nübel, our long-time band singer, will also be there to give you goosebumps with her unique voice.

The Tobias Becker Bigband gathers some of the best young jazz musicians from all over Germany and presents "big band jazz in perfection" (Belgian Broadcasting Corporation - BRF). With these accomplished musicians, who otherwise play in various radio big bands and musical productions, Tobias Becker has put together a well-rehearsed jazz orchestra that has already won the coveted "German Record Critics' Award" with its debut CD. CriticalJazz writes: "(...) his big band is one of the two finest large ensembles coming out of Eastern Europe."
