Initially, the Gestapo was primarily concerned with fighting political opponents. In the mid-1930s, however, the police increasingly monitored, persecuted and deported people who, for racist reasons, were not supposed to be part of the "national community" propagated by the Nazi regime. This themed tour shows the deadly consequences of racism using the example of the police under National Socialism.
