Towel Day im Planetarium

Location:
Carl-Zeiss-Planetarium Stuttgart, Willy-Brandt-Straße 25, 70173 Stuttgart
Date
May 25, 2026, 5:30 PM

It's that time again - we're celebrating Douglas Adams and his fascinating vision of the future! And all in the comfort of our starry dome.

On "Towel Day", fans from all over the universe will wear their towel in honor of Adams, because we now know how important and great towels are. So feel free to bring your own towel! For everyone else, there's still free admission today.

When? We will be opening our planetarium from 5 pm for a very special event: Götz Schneyder will be reading from "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" at 6 pm. You can expect impressive space visuals presented live on our dome.

After about an hour, the reading will end with an atmospheric laser show.

Come along and let's dive into the infinite vastness of the universe together!

Reservations are not necessary.
