Wolfram Lotz is our guest and will be reading from his new book Dreams in Europe. For this, he researched online in so-called dream forums, where people tell each other their dreams. Lotz edits these stories and condenses them into a literary collage - without commentary or interpretation.
The result is a dream-like juxtaposition of short prose: sometimes Kafkaesque, sometimes banal, but mostly enigmatic in a peculiar way - a collective diary of the unconscious.
Wolfram Lotz, born in 1981, is a playwright and poet. From June 2026, his multi-award-winning play Die Politiker will be performed at Schauspiel Stuttgart under the direction of Alexander Eisenach.
