Triassic Life – Aufbruch in die Welt der Saurier

In the major special exhibition "Triassic Life - A journey into the world of the dinosaurs", the Museum am Löwentor (Stuttgart Natural History Museum) will be taking visitors on an exciting research trip back to 250 million years ago from 17.10.2025 - 07.06.2026 - into the largest mass extinction in the history of the earth to date. At that time, a large part of the plant and animal world disappeared forever. But the dinosaurs were more successful than ever afterwards. They colonized all habitats and developed an incredible diversity. Two palaeontologists take visitors on an educational discovery tour in the footsteps of the dinosaurs and explain the scientific methods and technologies they use.

Parts of the permanent exhibition will also be included in the special exhibition for the first time. The permanent exhibition will be revised in the process.
