TWO SOULS - Musical meets Rock

TWO SOULS... ... “Two souls, alas! dwell within my breast”—this quote from Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s *Faust* aptly describes the underlying concept behind this musical project. It was therefore also the inspiration for the name—TWO SOULS. Unlike in Goethe’s work, however, the aim here is not for “one to separate from the other”; rather, TWO SOULS has set out to bring together two musical styles that, at first glance, seem quite different—musicals and rock music. Rock music has been an integral part of Hannes Staffler’s life since his early youth, and bands like Queen, Bon Jovi, and AC/DC were not only his heroes back then but continue to inspire him with their music to this day. Through his career as a singer, however, he has also come to know and appreciate musical theater—and especially the musical genre—over time, which is how he came up with the idea of uniting these two musical styles, which primarily define his artistic life, in a musical crossover project. TWO SOULS brings together Hannes Staffler with an outstanding band and renowned guest singers who have made it their mission to definitively merge these two musical styles and break down the barriers between them.
