Valeria Maurer Quartett

A musical wanderer between jazz, pop and folk influences

Singer and songwriter Valeria Maurer combines lyrical depth with rhythmic sophistication - sometimes groovy, sometimes tender and touching, always with an unmistakably personal touch.
Born in Kazakhstan, raised in Siberia and based in Germany for more than ten years, she has performed with her quartet on renowned stages such as jazzahead! or the Leverkusen Jazz Days and was a scholarship holder of the Baden-Württemberg Art Foundation in 2023.

Her debut album Here is the Silence, released in 2024, tells stories of loneliness and the courage to change, of impressive mountain landscapes and fairy-tale characters - poetic, colorful and from heart to heart.
