Projection mapping and live music as process work at Villa Berg

On October 3, Villa Berg will be transformed into a pulsating experimental field of light and sound. The media artists lichtgestalten, wallanda and holophote will turn the villa into a canvas - accompanied live and musically by kiTz & Issueswithmysleep.

The work is more than a visual staging - it is a field of experimentation.
Under the working title VillaLux, a process-oriented work is being created on the basis of generative visualizations
, in which the individual approaches of the three artists
intertwine. Each of them contributes their own skills, which expand and reinforce each other in the
interplay.

A live experience is created in dialog with the visuals: the music makers kiTz and Issueswithmysleep accompany the mapping with specially developed sounds, thus creating a direct connection between image and sound. The idea of VillaLux is particularly reflected in kiTz: their new TIGHTER EP consists of improvised one-takes - spontaneous snapshots that impressively convey the processual nature of music and image.

This collaborative approach is a deliberate choice: It reflects the idea associated with Villa Berg - a place where collaborative work, artistic research and open processes will find space in the future.

VillaLux shows how collaboration releases creative energy, dissolves boundaries and generates new forms of expression. The Villa Berg thus becomes a symbol of cooperation that sees design not as a finished product, but as a process.
