Vivaldi: Die Vier Jahreszeiten

Location:
Kultur- und Kongresszentrum Liederhalle Mozart-Saal, Berliner Platz 1, 70174 Stuttgart

The four most famous violin concertos written by the Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi take you on an emotional journey through nature. Whether birdsong in spring, a violent thunderstorm in summer, a joyful harvest festival or the soft falling of snowflakes - each concerto portrays a season.
Before these melodies are played in the second part of the concert, other well-known works will get you in the mood for a musical treat.

Since it was founded in 2013, the chamber ensemble of the DRESDNER RESIDENZ ORCHESTER has managed to bring great works to the stage with its own arrangements and interpretations. Of course, this is only possible thanks to the virtuosity of the individual musicians and their ability to play together perfectly in this line-up.

The special focus of this concert is on the outstanding violin soloist and founder of the orchestra - Prof. Igor Malinovsky.
