Next May, large parts of the country will be celebrating Udo Lindenberg's 80th birthday - and we've already made a start:
After two immediately sold-out shows in Hamburg, we can now announce four more dates. Benjamin von Stuckrad-Barre and Jan Delay will continue on these four upcoming "VORGLÜHEN" evenings to get us all in the mood for the extensive festivities to honor the best and most important German-language song poet.
Vorglühen, an evening with songs and lyrics by Udo - and of course with lyrics about him. Stuckrad-Barre and Delay said at the premiere in Hamburg that they had basically been preparing for these shows since their early childhood:
"We learned to speak, write and sing through Udo's songs and especially through his lyrics. And everything about love, nights out and partying. In short: life."
