Vorsicht Abzocke!

In cooperation with the Stuttgart Police Headquarters, the Feuerbach District Library is offering a lecture on crime prevention for older people.

It feels like the perpetrators are getting bolder and bolder. Older people in particular like to fall for the ever-changing scams of fraudsters. Sometimes this results in considerable financial losses. There are many dangers lurking for senior citizens on the telephone and on the Internet, but also at the front door or when out and about. Burglary, pickpocketing, grandchildren scams or fake police officers - these are just some of the topics covered in a presentation. Mr. Schembera is responsible for crime prevention at the police station in Feuerbach. He will explain the latest tricks and methods used by criminals and how you can protect yourself against them.
