A forest symphony in which people have to find their place anew.
One day, trees suddenly grow overnight in the cities. They grow strong and mighty on balconies, in the streets and on houses. Traffic collapses, pedestrian zones become impassable and the horticultural authorities don't know what to do. And not just in Germany, no, all over Europe!
Miriam Lesch creates absurd situations in which Bambi, Caesar and the Roman chronicler Pliny appear side by side as a matter of course. She ensures that the play poses very topical questions such as the climate catastrophe, the consequences of the Anthropocene and ecological ethics with subtle humor. - And all of this in a poetic language that effortlessly allows the forest itself to speak as trees, mushrooms and beetles. A forest symphony in which people have to find their place anew.
With Schirin Brendel, Mariam Jincharadze, Britta Scheerer, Stefan Maaß
