Wanderausstellung WOHNUNGSLOSE IM NATIONALSOZIALISMUS

Location:
Trott-war - Bürger für Berber e.V., Falkertstraße 56, 70176 Stuttgart
Date

Please check the individual dates in the calendar overview.

The exhibition of the Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft Wohnungslosenhilfe e.V. will open on December 2, 2025 at 6 pm in the meeting place of Trott-war - Bürger für Berber e.V. Saturdays by appointment only!

Topics of the exhibition include:
World economic crisis, beggar raids in 1933, workhouses, racial hygiene, forced sterilization, "asocial extended families"
Homeless people, beggars, people without steady work ...: This group of victims, who were considered "asocials" by the Nazis, were marked in the concentration camps with a black cloth patch on the left side of their chest. People who were "useless" in the eyes of the Nazis were discriminated against, persecuted and deported - as well as being "lazy", "neglected" and "work-shy". Inhuman terms that were not further defined or questioned.

Instead of an entrance fee of 7 euros, we would be pleased to receive a donation for our work for and with socially marginalized people - if you wish, in the same amount.

Groups or other interested parties are invited, by prior arrangement, to use our exhibition space after the exhibition visit as a space for exchange or discussion about what they have seen.
