Workshop with city walk

How do we move as women* in public space - and what experiences shape our everyday paths?
With the help of critical cartography, we make visible in the workshop what often remains invisible: personal experiences, emotions and barriers in the public space of women*. We will go on a walk together and search for clues, share our observations and record them on maps. This creates a space for experimentation and a multi-layered picture of different realities of life.

Format & methods
The workshop is interactive and combines input, a walk and creative work:

Short introduction to feminist and critical cartography as a method
Walk through Stuttgart with a "feminist view" (approx. 4-5km)
Visit to the Support Group Network Deutschland e. V. (SGND e.V.): exchange with the women's department (Frauenpower)
Collective mapping and emotional mapping
Target group
The workshop is aimed at women* aged 18 and over. The asterisk refers to people who see themselves as women and/or are read as female as well as trans, intersex and non-binary people who feel they belong to this space.

Other locations: SGND e.V. & public paths in Stuttgart (it is possible to shorten the route using public transport)
