After all, the Thalbachs are a family of actors with a special talent for speaking: Katharina Thalbach received the German Audiobook Award for her life's work in 2014, daughter Anna was honored with the German Audiobook Award for best performer in 2008. And granddaughter Nellie, who made her theatrical debut as a seven-year-old in the "Threepenny Opera" at the Maxim Gorki Theater, regularly narrates audiobooks and dubs films.
