Cities are never finished, they are constantly changing. This also applies to Stuttgart and can easily be seen in the construction projects of the past and coming years. The city is changing because our society and the world of work are constantly changing, resulting in new demands on urban spaces. The key questions are: How should Stuttgart develop in the coming decades? Which issues are particularly important to us? How can Stuttgart deal with the available resources and at the same time offer a good living environment?

With the urban development perspective, the city of Stuttgart wants to develop a new, cross-thematic overall concept. It sets out goals for how the city should develop and how this can be achieved. Particular attention will be paid to the diverse effects of growth and urban transformation.
