Reading and discussion with Christian Linker
Three young people. Three different times.
A dream of freedom: Harry fights his way through the ruins of the post-war period, Jennifer ends up in the most brutal
Jennifer ends up in the most brutal youth work camp in the GDR because of her criticism of the regime and the slam poet Nadiem faces a right-wing mob at his first big gig in the present day. Decades separate these stories from one another and yet they are linked by a family network and a desire for freedom and self-determination, with which the three young people quickly reach their limits - and the courage to overcome them.
Christian Linker studied theology and did youth politics before devoting himself entirely to writing. His novels, which have always dealt with controversial topics, have won numerous awards.
