Whisky Tasting

Discover the world of German whisky - an experience for all the senses!
This special seminar on German whisky will excite more than just your tongue. Immerse yourself in the fascinating history and diversity of German whisky! Did you know that malt spirit has probably been produced in Germany since the 15th century? The first indication of this is the malt distillation ban of 1545, when the magistrate of the town of Nordhausen prohibited the use of grain or malt for the production of spirits. Historians assume that the brewers wanted to defend themselves against competition from grain brandy, which made grain more expensive. However, this ban was lifted as early as 1570.

Today, there are around 305 distilleries in Germany that produce whisky. This means that every time you take part in this seminar, a new, varied offer awaits you. Discover which whisky tastes best to you - from malty sweet to smoky, from normal to cask strength. The variety ranges from north to south and from west to east Germany, and includes whiskies from 3-year-olds to 12-year-olds and even older ones.

It is particularly exciting that whisky from the German whisky metropolis of Owen will also be included. The whiskies are selected by the organizer and guarantee you a varied and exciting tasting experience.
