Wicked Kiki Ball
- Location:
- Theater Rampe, Filderstr. 47, 70180 Stuttgart
The MISS PIGGY KIKI BALL celebrates the art of claiming space. Organized by Cary 007, Escobar Fenty Savage, and the SERVE. Ballroom Community Stuttgart, this Kiki Ball brings together fashion, performance, and chosen family, while also viewing ballroom as a cultural practice, a form of creative expression, and a vibrant community.
Ballroom originated in New York’s Black and Latinx LGBTQ+ communities as a space where people could find family, celebrate individuality, and transform fashion, movement, and performance into powerful forms of self-expression. Across various categories, competition, creativity, and storytelling merge into a culture that remains shaped to this day by community, empowerment, and artistic innovation.
This edition spotlights one of pop culture’s most iconic divas: Miss Piggy. Long before the internet rediscovered her as a fashion icon, she embodied precisely the qualities that define ballroom—uncompromising self-confidence, theatricality, glamour, humor, and the firm belief that one must earn one’s place in the spotlight. Her current renaissance in fashion and pop culture makes her a surprisingly contemporary source of inspiration.
The MISS PIGGY KIKI BALL translates this icon into the language of ballroom. Not as a parody, but as a tribute to bold self-expression, high fashion, camp, and the freedom to constantly reinvent oneself. Look forward to extraordinary looks, spectacular performances, and a community that demonstrates just how powerful visibility and creative expression can be.
