Wolfgang Flad. "Phönix und die Entropie" Einzelausstellung

Galerie Elisabeth & Reinhard Hauff is pleased to present "Phoenix and Entropy", the fifth solo exhibition by Berlin-based artist Wolfgang Flad (*1974 in Reutlingen, Germany).

In "Phoenix and Entropy", the artist explores one of the most fundamental principles of the universe: entropy - the physical measure of disorder that describes decay on a cosmic scale. But instead of resignation, his works evoke the idea of a mythical new beginning: the phoenix - the mythical symbol of rebirth and renewal - rising from the ashes. Flad's works move between the poles of chaos and order, destruction and beauty, decay and hope.
