The American atmospheric black metal pioneers Wolves in the Throne Room are embarking on a major tour of Germany in October in support of their new album together with WORM and Final Dose!
Since their formation in 2002, Wolves in the Throne Room have stood for an independent approach to black metal that combines nature mysticism, spirituality and sonic expansiveness. Since "Two Hunters" at the latest, the band has earned a worldwide reputation as pioneers of so-called "Cascadian Black Metal" - characterized by epic song structures, ambient elements and a deep rootedness in the aesthetics of North American landscapes.
They are accompanied by WORM, who create a dark, almost occult world of sound with their unique blend of death metal, doom and sinister atmosphere. Dragging heaviness paired with eerie depth and plenty of epicness, their last album Necropalace thrilled fans and critics alike and catapulted the band from insider tip to worldwide genre greatness.
The line-up is completed by Final Dose from the UK, whose raw, punk-inspired black metal unleashes an aggressive yet nihilistic energy. With their uncompromising sounds and intense live performances, they have made a name for themselves in the underground in a short space of time and deliver another facet on this tour.
