Improvisation workshop for adults and young people Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of improvisation! The open music workshop offers you the opportunity to playfully experiment with sounds and words.
On Saturday, June 20 at the GEDOK Stuttgart, two musicians from the open music ensemble - Roderik Vanderstraeten and Céline Papion - together with actress and speaker Katja Uffelmann invite you to a workshop for free improvisation with sounds and words. All interested young people and adults are welcome.
Starting at 2 pm, we will provide insights into various strategies of free improvisation. By playing together, we will explore different concepts, experiment with sounds and text fragments and develop a collective improvisation, which will be presented to parents, friends and guests at 4:30 pm.
The workshop is aimed at young people aged 12 and over as well as adults - regardless of whether you play an instrument or are interested in improvising with language. All instruments are welcome, as is your voice, no matter what level you are at. A grand piano is available. And if you have no previous experience with improvisation: now is the perfect time to give it a try!
We look forward to receiving your registration by email by June 14, 2026, stating your name, age and instrument.
