"Worthy is the Lamb"
The Württemberg Chamber Choir presents motets for choir and organ under the motto of the title work by the young British composer Joanna Marsh, which not only relate to the Passion, but also aim to look beyond it into the post-Easter period. The powerful work "Rejoice in the Lamb" by Benjamin Britten also takes center stage, breaking liturgical conventions with its contrasting tonal language and opening up a hopeful view of creation. Works by Tavener, Bach, Poulenc and Reger complete the program.
