"In my world, Helmut Nieberle is one of the most important musicians," says Patrick Schichtle, guitarist and bandleader of the Your Daily Jazz Trio. He specifies: The Regensburg jazz guitarist and composer was the initial spark for his career as a jazz musician and became a lasting musical inspiration for him: "During his lifetime, I attended all kinds of concerts, workshops and was able to look directly over his shoulder as he created music. At a time when everything was changing for me, Helmut Nieberle showed me the most peaceful world - music."
Four years ago, Patrick Schichtle founded his own band - the Your Daily Jazz Trio - with Bertram Liebmann on double bass and Theo Wolf on drums. Guitar, bass and drums bring swinging jazz music with a fresh sound and a broad musical horizon that includes tango, bossa nova, choro and waltzes from all over the world.

With this in mind, Helmut Nieberle's compositions have had a firm place in the band's repertoire from the very beginning. The next step in 2026 will be an album with selected pieces from his oeuvre in the trio's arrangements and inspired interpretations. A brand new Nieberle project in which Your Daily Jazz Trio fuses intense interplay and exciting solos in a melodious, swinging and grooving rhythm.

This is by no means an everyday musical treat for the audience: the captivating music of Helmut Nieberle, performed by an enthusiastic young band - preferably every day!
