Every hunter should expect their prey to turn against them.
They could lock them away for six years. Six years they could sleep more peacefully at night. Six years they didn't have to look nervously over their shoulders. But now the time for revenge has come. Asa sets out to destroy a tradition that has dominated the lives of a community for a hundred years and led to the deaths of countless innocents. In her fight, Asa finds loyal allies, experiences vile betrayal, encounters powerful opponents and finally faces her greatest enemy - her own family.
