Guests discussing
- Eva Wolfangel, journalist and award-winning author for Die Zeit, GEO and Der Spiegel, among others. She shows how algorithmic systems shape decisions and why their results appear objective, even though they are based on specific data and assumptions. As a speaker, including at the Chaos Computer Club, she classifies technological developments from a social perspective.
- Clair Bötschi, artist at the interface of art and its conditions. With AIDEN (2024) - an experimental AI for evaluating artistic works - he makes visible how algorithmic logics shape aesthetic judgments and change decision-making processes in the art field.
What happens when machines judge art? How do criteria of quality and relevance change - and do we want to outsource cultural decisions to such systems? Together with the two experts, "Zukunft:Kultur" is venturing a live experiment with AIDEN and invites you to discuss the role of AI in cultural decision-making processes.
The evening will be moderated by Jennifer Reaves, cultural and creative pilot, former managing director of the design fair "blickfang", content creator and festival organizer ("BitchFest Stuttgart").
