Sewing workshop with Stuttgart textile artist Heike Huber

In this workshop, we will use silk, thread and paper to create a German-French fantasy flag in the colors of the two countries. We will sketch a design and use silk in patchwork technique to realize it. The result is an individual silk picture for each participant that expresses their personal idea of what cooperation and cohesion between the two countries is all about. The patchwork work is finally mounted on a wooden frame.

Basic machine sewing skills are welcome.
